Welcome to North Shore Schools

The North Shore School District is a dynamic educational community made up of five public schools which serve a rich mix of students whose academic performance is consistently high and enables us to maintain a position as one of the strongest public school systems in the Nation. Our district includes Glen Head Elementary School, Glenwood Landing Elementary School, Sea Cliff Elementary School, North Shore Middle School and North Shore High School.

We remain resolute in our commitment to providing our students with an education in an environment that places an emphasis on knowing each child well. Additionally, we will continue evolving as a community of learners in which each participant is supported in becoming passionately engaged in a process of continuous growth and improvement.

Together with our Trustees and consistent with our mission and vision statements, we will continue to develop and support those facets of the North Shore Schools that place an emphasis on learning that is deep and meaningful. In addition, providing the best possible education at the most reasonable cost possible is a goal we all share.
